A Chatbot to teach programming in Primary Education
Pablo Yeves Martinez
Abstract
Teaching programming in Primary Education has recently attracted a great deal of interest. One global trend is using multimedia languages such as Scratch. However, by using Pedagogic Conversational Agents that dialog with the students, they have to think how to solve given problems and to write the code to solve them. This lecture shows a conversational agent to teach programming to 6 to 12 years old students and focuses on how Watson Assistant works, offering the possibility to the audience to create their own chatbot using IBM Cloud technologies.
