This lecture positions Artificial Intelligence in context of how we at IBM use AI to solve business problems. It focuses on the different types of technologies we make available to our clients and shows a small number of actual client cases. The IBM values are front and center when developing new AI technologies and how we use AI solving real problems. Ethical development and application of AI as well as handling clients data with trust and responsibility is what makes IBMs approach to AI different from many if not all other AI players in the market.

Loek Vredenberg is the CTO of IBM Norge and works with IBMs technologies across the different business units. Loek has long experience with technical leadership roles within IBM internationally and for deliveries of complex IT solutions. Loek has in recent years focused his attention to artificial intelligence and IBMs cognitive technologies that go by the name of Watson as well as the cloud-based delivery platform. Loek is working in the area of cloud-based industry platforms as the delivery vehicle for digital transformation. Loek contributes to public debate around AI and gives lectures and key notes on this topic in many different settings.
